Motivation Tip!

Updated: Sep 5

I know for me, I have been feeling overwhelmed, tired, and struggling to get my motivation back to create. I did a 5-day “Art Monastery” session and each day we focused on blocks in our work, how to keep motivated, and so much more. There were some great nuggets of information and this one stuck with me. I learned to create in micro-moments. Instead of waiting for a perfect block of time, carve out just 5–10 minutes to sketch, stitch, or jot down an idea. Tiny creative actions keep the spark alive and remind your brain, “I’m still an artist.” Small steps add up—and often lead to bigger bursts of inspiration. I journal every day, talking about what my blocks are, doodling, writing quotes, whatever comes to my mind. Doing this has released the blocks of creativity and I'm back in my studio.

"Even five minutes with your hands in the work can feed your creative soul. Start small—keep going."

Enjoy Creating!
