In this hands-on class, you’ll learn how to use thread as your paintbrush—layering stitches, fibers, and embellishments to create depth, movement, and dimension. Starting with a printed panel, you’ll discover how to enhance, alter, and bring your image to life through expressive thread painting and mixed media techniques.
We’ll explore thread selection, color blending, and free-motion stitching, along with the addition of fibers such as wool roving, yarns, and specialty materials to push your work beyond traditional quilting.
This class is perfect for beginners to intermediate students who are ready to loosen up, experiment, and discover new creative possibilities.
